SUMMARY:Foodie Friday: Jams & Jellies
DESCRIPTION:Marty Danielson of Ms. Marty’s Sweet Shop will teach jam- and jelly-making from start to finish. Learn about equipment\, food safety\, steps in the process (jellies vs. jams)\, and make a batch of jam!  Students will taste the jam or jelly made in class on toast\, and take home an 8-oz. jar. \nMarty has over 50 years of experience making and canning her own jams and jellies\, and has been a Blue Ribbon winner at county fairs. She has been a vendor at both Penn Fest in Richfield\, and the Richfield Farmers Market. \nMaximum 10 participants; ages 18 and up. $40/person; register at richfieldmn.gov/register\, or call 612-861-9385.
