The event will include food and beverages for sale from NorthStar Tavern\, a silent auction\, and prizes for the top performers in each sport and category. Bring your cheering section! Spectators pay just $5 at the door. \nCURLING TOURNAMENT:  The Richfield Curling Club will be on site to help beginners with the basics of curling. Participants play a tournament split into two divisions: beginner and intermedia. 16 teams of four people each will compete. Register as an individual and have your teammates register as well. You’ll be asked to indicate their names OR we will place you with a team. \nINDOOR PICKLEBALL TOURNAMENT:  When the ice is out for the season on Rink 1\, it’s the perfect time for some indoor pickleball! 16 pairs will compete in three categories: male\, female\, or co-ed. Sign up as individuals and indicate your partner’s name OR we will place you with a partner. Beginners welcome! \n$50 per play per sport; pre-registration required at richfieldmn.gov/register (click Activities and search “paddles”).

Lucy is a lightning bug and the most talented flyer in the squad. There’s just one problem: she doesn’t light up! When it’s time to learn night flying\, Lucy is anxious. She tries everything to get her light to shine but nothing works. Lucy is about to give up when her friends are captured by a nasty toad and his gang\, who hatched a plan to brighten up their bog. Does Lucy have what it takes to save her friends? Or is she just an “ordinary” bug after all? A sweet story which shines a light on inner confidence\, self-acceptance\, and courage. Lucy learns that doing a good deed will always make you shine bright! \nThe book is posted along the trail from 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.  This event will be repeated on October 28 and November 18\, with a different book each time. DESCRIPTION:Enjoy open play time at the indoor heated dome at the Academy of Holy Angels in the heart of Richfield. Open Dome time is for ALL ages. Our recreation team will bring a van full of equipment to play with\, including parachutes\, soccer balls\, hula hoops\, portable frisbee golf chains and frisbees\, and bean bags and boards. The warm dome will the the perfect space to get some exercise in the middle of the winter\, with no need to bundle up! All youth under 14 years of age need to be accompanied by an adult. You will need to register individually as an individual participant\, parent\, or child online\, or pay in person at the door. Registrations taken at the door must pay the fee in cash\, and exact change is appreciated. Masks are optional. Let’s have some fun!  $5/person.
