DESCRIPTION:The Wood Lake Nature Center bird club has been created to provide an opportunity for bird enthusiasts to gather\, communicate\, and share in their love for birds! This community-led gathering will meeting monthly at Wood Lake Nature Center to encourage bird watchers\, photographers\, painters\, artists\, and those who want to learn more about birds to share information related to the birds who visit the park. Participants may use the club to exchange photos and art\, encourage and inspire others to learn about birds\, and display photos on Wood Lake’s social media. \nThe bird club is an informal gathering which is led by the participants. DESCRIPTION:Elpis Enterprises is proud to offer a DIY Build-A-Birdfeeder workshop at Wood Lake. In this workshop\, Elpis Enterprises staff will guide the participants in how to use jigs to place their bird feeder kit. Participants will then put hammer to nail and fully assemble their bird feeder created from reclaimed cedar fence that was headed for the landfill. Participants will receive a small bag of birdseed to take home!  $7/bird feeder; a registered adult must accompany children ages 13 or younger.
