It’s almost time again for our favorite Richfield tradition: the Richfield 4th of July extravaganza! This magical event comes just once a year, so don’t miss out on a moment of fun. Mark your calendars now: here are the top 5 attractions for 2018’s Richfield 4th of July.

1. Family Night
When: July 2
5:00 PM Kiddie Parade Registration
5:30 PM to 8:30 PM DJ and FUN
6:30 PM Diaper Derby
9:00 PM Movie in the Park
Family night is always a Richfield favorite! Kicking off at 5:30 PM, family day features bouncy houses, face painters, and more fun for kids (and adults) of all ages. End the night with a family-friendly movie in the park.
2. Car Show
When: July 3, 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM
ACME Speedshop and the Richfield 4th of July Committee present the 18th Annual Car Show July 3rd in Veterans Memorial Park. With just a $10 entry fee, you can see all the cars on display, enjoy live music and delicious food vendors. The top 30 cars will receive trophies based on participant voting.
3. Street Dance
When: July 3, 5:00 PM – 12:00 AM
Come enjoy the beer and music at the street dance. It is fun for all! Featuring great music and some of the best food around, it’s a great way to spend an evening with friends and family! The event takes place on July 3rd on the south side of Veteran’s Park, along 66th Street.
4. Parade
When: July 4, 1:15 PM – 3:15 PM
Be sure to come sit and watch the parade! The parade starts at 70th Street and Nicollet Avenue, heads north on Nicollet to 66th Street, then runs east. We have some fun things in store this year that you won’t want to miss.
5. Fireworks
When: July 4, 10:00 PM
You definitely don’t want to miss the highlight of Richfield 4th of July. Come sit in the park, enjoy beer and music. Stay for the fireworks! Some of the BEST in the state! Everything kicks off at 10:00 PM.
