Geocaching Basics

Learn the basics of this family-friendly activity that combines high-tech treasure hunts and nature discovery. Spend the rest of the program exploring around Wood Lake on a course designed for beginners. Geocaching involves looking for a cache using a global positioning system (GPS) unit. All equipment provided. Online registration at woodlakenaturecenter.org is preferred; walk-in registrations are allowed as space permits.
