ABOUT VISIT RICHFIELD

Who We Are:

The Richfield Tourism Promotion Board (RTPB) was established as a Minnesota nonprofit in 1990 to promote activities related to regional and statewide advertising of the City of Richfield’s hospitality industry. The RTPB currently consists of representatives from the city’s three hotels: Four Points by Sheraton, Baymont Suites, and Sonesta Simply Suites, plus a representative from the Richfield Chamber of Commerce and a citizen member.

RTPB primarily promotes the hospitality industry in Richfield, with a focus on increasing bookings at the city’s three hotels. Since a part of the mission of the organization is to promote the community of Richfield as a whole, RTPB marketing efforts focus on promoting city-wide events such as the July 4th celebration and the Woodlake Nature Center 5K Urban Wildland Half Marathon. We feature local businesses such as restaurants, recreation, and retail. We also work to capture business travel and major events business, capitalizing on Richfield’s proximity to the Mall of America, the Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport, and the city of Minneapolis.

Our Mission:

Our goal is simple: to promote Richfield tourism and local commerce. Just 10 minutes south of downtown Minneapolis, immediately west of the Minneapolis/St. Paul International Airport, less than 5 minutes west of Mall of America and directly connected by north, south, east and west freeways, Richfield is perfectly positioned as your home-away-from-home in the Twin Cities metro.

Richfield accommodations include family-friendly, business, and extended-stay options. Over three dozen restaurant options gives you access to local/independent, fast casual, date-worthy, and national chain options. Our wide array of parks and Wood Lake Nature Center make our location complete for families.

We hope to see you here soon!
