Entertainment in the Park: Women’s Drum Center

Gather your friends and family for a free concert in the park! Enjoy a variety of musical styles and a relaxing time outdoors. Don’t forget your lawn chairs or blankets.
This week: High energy traditional and modern West African songs – including drumming, dancing and singing with the Women’s Drum Center! This kid-friendly performance includes audience participation, sing along, call and response and education about the source of our music. We all bring small percussion instruments and coloring sheets for kids to take home.
