Foodie Friday: Jams & Jellies

Marty Danielson of Ms. Marty’s Sweet Shop will teach jam- and jelly-making from start to finish. Learn about equipment, food safety, steps in the process (jellies vs. jams), and make a batch of jam! Students will taste the jam or jelly made in class on toast, and take home an 8-oz. jar.
Marty has over 50 years of experience making and canning her own jams and jellies, and has been a Blue Ribbon winner at county fairs. She has been a vendor at both Penn Fest in Richfield, and the Richfield Farmers Market.
