    Join a naturalist from Wood Lake Nature Center on Saturday mornings to discover the wild side of Veterans Park. Naturalists will guide participants in learning about the plants and animals that make this unique urban green space a rich habitat for dozens of species. $5/participant; registration required at www.richfieldmn.gov/register. Drop-in participants welcome as space allows.

    Open skating season starts at the Richfield Ice Arena!!  Open skating runs at the following times: Monday-Thursday 12 p.m. to 1:15 p.m. Wednesdays 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. Beginning November 3, Sundays from 5 p.m. to 6:15 p.m. Skate rental is $4.00 per pair; open skating admission $6.00 (10-admission tickets available for $50!).
