Veterans Memorial Park

Veterans Memorial Park boasts Richfield’s largest playground facility and picnic pavilion, making it the perfect choice for family events large and small. The park is also home to several events during the summer, including the annual Farmer’s Market. For a little bit of extra fun, swing by Malt-T-Melt Mini Golf and Wheel Fun Rentals, conveniently located inside the park. Enjoy their 18 hole minigolf while sipping on a signature malt.

Wood Lake Nature Center

At 150 acres, Wood Lake Nature Center is the largest nature preserve in Richfield. For a low-stress day, walk through one of the many trails or visiting the many wildlife viewing areas. Wood Lake Nature Center also hosts events throughout the summer.

Bike & Walking Trails

Wood Lake Nature Center has over two miles of crushed limestone walking trails and floating boardwalk, as well as several wheelchair accessible trails. Plan your trip with the trail map. For bikers, stop by Veterans Memorial Park and enjoy their many bike trails. Have some family fun by renting a surrey from Wheel Fun Rentals. Also check out the Three Rivers Park Bike Trail that connects to bike trails across the state.

Historical Center

Did you know that Richfield is the oldest suburb in Minnesota? Explore our rich history through the Richfield Historical Society. 2017 marks the 165th birthday of the legendary Bartholomew House. Take a birthday tour of this unique cultural cornerstone and explore life in the 19th century. At the History Center next door you can see even more exhibits and explore the reading room.

Outdoor Pool

The Richfield Outdoor Pool boasts a 50-meter main pool with wheelchair access ramp, double waterslide, one meter diving board, water volleyball and 25-yard lap lanes. Kids will enjoy the zero-depth-entry wading pool with water play equipment. Daily admission is free for kids under 12 months.
