Enjoy a night out with some great music during the Richfield summer concert series. July is shaping up to be another spectacular month of toe-tapping beats and irresistible jams.
July 6: The Resistors
The RESISTORS are accomplished musicians with a gift for finding YOUR frequency. With a turbo-charged songbook ranging from rock to blues to the best party hits, the RESISTORS are able to “tune in” your audience and turn on the juice!
July 13: Potluck String Band
In our Potluck band, everyone brings something to the table, and, as often happens when creating something together, the result is more than the parts that made it. Call it joy, call it good old-fashioned fun, call it a bunch of strings strummed into a heart-opening chord. Or call it a Bamily, like we do! We would make music together whether we had instruments or not (our washboard player plays a turtle shell and a thermos, for Pete’s sake). We’ll be pickin’ and grinnin’ whenever and wherever we can – we can’t really help it – so come on out and have a great time with us! –The Potluck String Band
July 20: Lehto & Wright
Lehto and Wright are a Celtic/American/English folk and progressive rock band from Minneapolis, USA. Steve Lehto and John Wright perform either as a duo or, with the addition of Matt Jacobs on drums and percussion, a Celtic rock trio.
July 27: Northern Winds Concert Band
Northern Winds Concert Band was established in 1979 by a group of Bloomington Kennedy High School parents to give adults who play instruments an opportunity to continue playing beyond their high school and college years.
Don’t miss these great concerts in July! And stay tuned for even more concerts coming in August as part of the Richfield summer concert series.
