It’s almost time! Richfield’s beloved 4th of July celebration kicks off next month. We’ve got the full schedule of events that you won’t want to miss.

Family Night: Sunday, July 2nd

Our celebrations kick off with family night on July 2nd at Veteran’s Memorial Park. We’ve got something for everyone to enjoy!

  • 5:00 PM: Kiddie Parade Registration
  • 5:30 PM: Kiddie Parade
  • 5:30 – 8:30 PM: Picnic, DJ and activities
  • 6:00 – 8:30 PM: Silent Auction
  • 9:00 PM: Movie in the Park, E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial sponsored by RCBU and Dairy Queen.

Car Show: Monday, July 3rd

The 17th annual car show is back on July 3rd from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Get your engines roaring at Veterans Memorial Park for this fun event for all ages, only a $10 entry fee. The top 30 cars will receive trophies by participant voting.

Street Dance: Monday, July 3rd

The Richfield 4th of July’s Street Dance is also known by some as The Great Richfield Get-Together.  Featuring great music and some of the best food around, it’s a great way to spend an evening with friends and family! The event takes place on July 3rd on the south side of Veteran’s Park, along 66th Street.  The outdoor concert starts at 6 p.m. and goes until 11: 30 p.m.  Beer and wine will be served this year!

Parade: Tuesday, July 4th

Don’t miss the parade starting 1:00 PM. The 38th-annual Richfield 4th of July Parade will be held on Tuesday, July 4, 1:00 pm, rain or shine.  The parade starts at 70th Street and Nicollet Avenue, heads north on Nicollet to 66th Street, then runs east. The parade is still accepting late applications for floats at cityofrichfield.org/parade

Fireworks: Tuesday, July 4th

The big event! Fireworks start at 10:00 PM at Veterans Memorial Park, sponsored by Best Buy Co., Inc. See you there!
