3. Open Curling League
If you’ve always wanted to try this unique sport, now is the time. The Richfield Open Curling League is taking on new registrants – and new curlers are welcome! Anyone over 13 is invited to register and learn this new sport. All necessary equipment is provided. Sign up on the City of Richfield’s website.
4. Richfield Historical Society
Check out some local history at the Richfield Historical Society. Here you’ll find exhibits on what life in Richfield was like in the past and be able to take a tour of the Bartholomew House.
5. Theaters
There are many beautiful theaters within driving distance of Richfield. The beautifully restored Orpheum Theatre is like stepping back in time. The 90-year old theater features a chandelier that hangs 15 feet high and weights 2,000 pounds. The Guthrie Theater is a Minnesota staple. The Guthrie houses three stages as well as production facilities, classrooms, full-service restaurants and dramatic public lobbies. For a fun night out, try your hand at improv at the HUGE Improv Theater or catch a show at Acme Comedy Company.
