Intro to Tenango Embroidery

Traditional Mexican embroidery, known as Tenango, can be used to add texture and color to your embroidery projects. Learn different Tenango embroidery stitches--including Otomi, Chamula, and Tzotzil--each with their own texture and style, and create your own embroidered napkin. Materials provided. This program is funded with money from Minnesota's Arts and Cultural Heritage Fund.

Cuddle up with a certified therapy dog and practice reading aloud. Drop-ins will be accommodated based on availability. Sign up for a 15-minute time slot by calling 612-543-6200. In partnership with North Star Therapy Animals. All handlers are required to be trained in an additional children's reading program that focuses on utilizing registered therapy animals.
